Hello. My name's Randall. I live in a small town in the middle of Oklahoma. My bike is a 2008 Hensim HS250CR aka Baja Phoenix. She's been parked for the past 3 years. I fired her up today with a little starting fluid and a jump start. She's going to have a little cosmetic surgery soon. I'm going to start by removing anything not necessary for making her rideable. Then she's going to be fitted with ape hangers and the swing arm is going to be extended a few inches. While I'm at it, I'll probably reinforce it and add hard struts.

You planning on doing the Dirtbag challenge?

It is freaking hilarious from what I have been told. Anyway, enjoy your project, it will probably be cheap and fun.

After weighing my options and looking at other bikes, I have come to the conclusion that what I plan on doing to the swingarm is a horrible idea. So, the new plan is to pull the fenders, stiffen the springs, and make a custom seat. I still plan on removing all unnecessary things like rear pegs and all the plastiCRAP that they thought looked good. Then I need to rejet the carb and cut the mufflers off and add straight pipes and heat wrap.

That is the way to go. Remove all crap and kill them with fire!

Did that to my Skyteam (except did not burn, just tossed into the bin). Better would had been burn the crap! Now the Skyteam project is ceased, but this DirtBag concept is inspiring, maybe have to do an "experimental" bike of the Skyteam.
