    Hi all.
    I bought a kinlon jl200sm
A while ago for a bargain. The previous owner had maybe kick started it while it was running which spat little gear peaces through the box and seized a Bering, which broke apart and spat out part of the gearbox shift.
Good news I fixed it and it has identical internals as the xr200. I even bought xr200 bits to fix it.

Problem is it doesn't want to run. I can get it to run with some coaxing, something high octaine down the air filter but it just doesn't want to idle. Once I eventually get it warm it will just run out high idle.

I've tried moving the air diaphram with the circlip a notch and have tried the mixture too.

    Any thoughts?

Images to follow when can figure out hosting

"Humanbeing", it looks that this "Kinlon", although with pushrod engine, is fitted with CV carb.

It isn't this one. I took it apart and cleaned the carb after finding about a large amount of water in the tank. Carb had some gum like crap in it.
I'm pretty sure I put it together exactly how it was counting turns on screws etc.

    That's it!,
what's it called? I just wanted to get it running if it's a clone of something I'll start with those settings.
I've read other people having trouble with idling because of lean mixture because of emission control . I just wanted to start from scratch.

I do not think the bike sold in AU have that carburetor, least the images on the Kinlon site in Australia don’t they look to have a slide type. http://www.kinlon.com.au/

That is Chinese made "Teikei". We recently had a guy with the same carb - http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ll=1#post78817

Basically, every CV carb tuning guide will be good for you to know where to start, and what and how to get that.
