03-11-2016, 05:21 PMHi All
Bit of a mixed bag today !!, had trouble fitting my pannier crash bars, gave up for now, so I thought I'd console myself by fitting the Tutoro Motorcycle Chain Auto Oiler https://www.tutorochainoiler.com/collections/frontpage
Anyhow, got it fitted & primed, only drawback is that the pillion footpeg has to stay down. If it work well, which I'll let you know my findings, I'll probably get 1 for my Mash, and possibly the RX3 that is wending my way.
A little on the expensive side though, although cheaper than a scot oiler.

03-11-2016, 09:06 PMHi
As long as I have aligned correctly, it will be on the chain :-) There is a screw to adjust the flow, using the auto oiler, the oil is only 'pumped' through by the movement of the bike. It does get very good reviews, in fact I've yet to find a bad review.

I asked you this, because I don't see where exactly chains is lubed - rollers or plates.
...Because I saw on our local moto forum, that almost all DIY oilers apply oil on the plates (via rear sprocket), like "Scott oiler" do.Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

03-12-2016, 09:32 AMHi, Well, I might move the tube to there, depends on how well it seems to work. I did think about putting it there as well, easy enough to bend round if need be.

To lube chain plates, you need two tubes, each for one side. Nevertheless, plain Y joint, few more cm of hose, couple trimed syringe needles and some wire, and you can make great oiler.
