Hi I’m Mot. An Anglo foreigner living in the Ningbo countryside. I am new to motorcycles, but not new to China, although perhaps a bit sheltered. …and I love to ride!

This past fall I explored every main road, back road, side road, alleyway, and garden path within the range of my electric scooter. I recently got my C1E and an old beater car, so now with spring in the air it’s time for a proper motor bike.

I’ve been lurking on mychinamoto for a few months and I will be seeking the wisdom of the tribe regarding my first bike. I definitely see some touring in my future!

I love China and Chinese culture. The food is great, the people are friendly, and meaningful personal relationships just seem to come naturally with natives and fellow lao wai. I hope motorcycling will widen my social circle and enhance all that I love about East Asia. Miles of smiles, as they say.

    Cheers!
    Mot

I don't think the PM system works. I messaged a few people and they never showed up in my sent box and they never responded.
