#1 Evans High Performance Waterless Coolant04-21-2016, 03:47 PM
When does a motorbike over heat ??????
Yes we all know the answer "when the water reaches 100C or 212F"
Now what if we can increase that temperature before it boils ?
You can by replacing the water with "Evans High Performance Waterless Coolant"
Evans Waterless Coolant don't boil until 375F and is rated down to -40F
Evans High Performance Waterless Coolant:
NPG+ and RACE coolants have been reformulated:
NPG+c, is our combined benefits coolant.
We reformulated from the prior NPG+and RACE coolants into one High Performance Coolant.
This formula is compatible with all prior Evans formulas and may be added without any concerns.
Evans High Performance Coolant combines the benefits of Evans NPG+ and NPGR. High Performance Coolant provides superior cooling protection for all gasoline and light duty diesel engines, including marine and light aircraft. In conditions ranging from -40˚ to 375˚ F; High Performance Coolant provides cooling protection through constant liquid coolant contact with engine metals. Eliminates water-causing corrosion, electrolysis and cavitations. One successful installation provides cooling protection for the life-time of the engine, reducing maintenance time and expense.
HE BENEFITS OF EVANS NPG+c COOLANT FOR GASOLINE ENGINES
INCREASES POWER
PROTECTS FROM BOIL-OVER
IMPROVES FUEL ECONOMY
DOES NOT DEVELOP HIGH PRESSURE
ELIMINATES SYSTEM SCALING
ELIMINATES CORROSION
REDUCES DETONATION
ELIMINATES PUMP CAVITATION
REDUCES EMISSIONS
LENGTHENS LIFE OF ENGINE
EXTENDS RADIATOR LIFE
LIFE OF ENGINE COOLANT - 500,000 MILES
LENGTHENS LIFE OF COOLANT PUMP
PROLONGS HOSE LIFE
LOWERS MAINTENANCE COST
LESS ENGINE NOISE
REDUCED TOXICITY

I have not noticed this issue to much with mine. When I sit in traffic the fan kicks on and blows hot air on your legs. I have seen problems in the forums with heat when it comes to the Duke 390. I guess when the weather heats up, if I have trouble I can give this a try.

http://www.vintagethunderbirdclub.ne...ic.php?t=12074 btw. Lab grade non-aqueous propylene glycol (NPG) is ~1? rmb/500 gram via chemical shop .
Something cheaper http://apkgroup.com/msds/English/Pre...0-23-2013).pdf that using "PG" is OK enough... http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...t=16043&page=2 ...Last edited by humanbeing; 04-22-2016 at 10:08 AM.
