    Hi Guys,

Noob forum user, hope it is OK to post on here as a 1st post? Out of frustration and very tired arms I've come here to ask for some help if at all possible? :)

Purchased a Superbyke RSR (Sinnis Stealth/Quinqgi QM125-2D) for peanuts as a non runner, turns out a valve had come apart and was pounded a few times by the piston resulting in one borked head and holed piston.

I was all ready to buy a new head with rockers, new barrel and piston and then I seen a deal for a Keeway Strike 125 engine on ebay, 2015 model with 3k on the clock... starter motor is on same side as mines and its labelled as an 157FMI. Measurements of the case, bolt holes all match up but can I get it to fit... nope, top lines up but then cant get bottom/axle/main bolt to line up as its caught slightly on the front of the frame etc etc lol.

Is there any specific technique to getting these engines back in and lined up properly?

Many thanks in advance for any info/assistance.

    -Stu

So I've found that my original engine is a K157FMI, the new one is 157FMI-2 - I've googled quite a bit and not found any information - other than a slightly thicker engine mount setup on the front/exhaust side they are are essentially the same I think - Does anyone know any different at all?

    Thanks,
    -Stu

Edit: New engine notice the frame setup, ignore the slightly longer sprocket cover: http://puu.sh/nJ5Jw/c3d474e21c.jpg
Old Engine... and slightly shorter sprocket cover http://puu.sh/nJcdF/5cbfbee14b.jpg

Will get better/real pics tomorrow. :)

Qinggi is a legal copy that paid fees to Suzuki , Keeway doesn't (Different ignitor, higher c/r 10.5:1 ...)
    Domestic version

Nobody knows the difference btw Keeway & "Legal" (Suzuki /Hyosung/ Qingqi) model yet

    Hi Humanbeing,

Many thanks for your reply, as far as I've read I can use original CDI as timing should be the same or similar? Would I need custom CDI ?

I'm having an engine mount fabricated so that the front/exhaust side of engine is mounted correctly.

    It's all related to the "boss" length on rotor http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/view...originator=yes | 47mm Recent yr's Suzuki & clone / 32mm Good 'o Suzuki
2's http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=39943495866 plug style is similar to good 'o GS
If it behave weird , swap RSR's rotor to Keeway [OR buy an ignitor that suits Keeway...]

Thank you very much, motorcycle engines are new to me so learning all the way! So if flywheel 'boss' is longer on new model, change to older flywheel and see how it runs... nice! :) - If runs bad will try Keeway CDI.

    Thank you

Well... the back lines up and the top, just need that bracket for front now.

On inspecting the stator/magneto wiring it seems everything is opposite? does anyone have wire colour guide for keeway 125 QJ157FMI-2B or Quinqi K157FMI stator or CDI ?

    Thank you.

    Don't know what's inside 2B | QJ157FMI-2 use 'o Suzi style https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=521038909042
K157FMI http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321623489713 is modern (longer) style...
