Yes thank you I have changed flywheel, I just do not understand the wires or Chinese lol - Although I do thank you very much for your very good English and help/assitance! :)

I will try wire green to green and blue to blue and measure the 3 the wires, I think will be good... If I get it running it will take a video/movie! :D

So far this whole bike has cost me £200 including the new engine with only 3000km on it, worth while project! :D

On inspecting the stator/magneto wiring it seems everything is opposite? does anyone have wire colour guide for keeway 125 QJ157FMI-2B or Quinqi K157FMI stator or CDI ?

    Thank you.
Blue would be the trigger wire low voltage and the green is the ground wire.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks to your kind assistance it now lives! It seems hesitant to rev until heated up but I think there may be water in the fuel as it has sat for a couple of months. Will try fresh fuel in it tomorrow, see how we get on! :)

Many thanks again for your assistance guys.

    Hi again guys,

Cannot get engine to run without choke and it will not rev at all, tried changing flywheel but its the same therefore I think I need to change the CDI. Can you please advise on if a generic DC CDI would work, perhaps one of the ebay 'racing' cdi units?

    Thanks,
    -Stu

Edit: I have a AC CDI from a QJ157FMI (Not B version), could I make this 'fit' ? - Its same as http://www.seekpart.com/product/Moto...I-1811727.html

Hi HumanBeing thank you for responding, your seem to be the *only* one anyone where on the internet helping with things like this, you deserve a reward! :)

The AC CDI is from a breaker not fitted at all, I got it thinking it would work but after looking at internet I'm not sure it will work so I have not used it yet. :)

Checked air gap btw flywheel & pickup? - All standard setup on the QJ157FMI-B, I have not changed anything there.

Is the CDI as manual's spec? Yes manual.

Carb OK ? Used bike's jet ALWAYS clogged...

It is K157FMi mikuni carb, FResh fuel, removed water from tank, changes hoses for breathers etc etc, but will strip it tomorrow and see whats what.

Yeah... I see the difference but I'm mechanical most of the time so not sure exactly how to wire that..

I tested the green wire and got nothing.. tested the blue/white wire (original CDI) and got a pulse when turning over, other than these there are two 12v wires, ones seems to be ignition live/constant one Is kill switch (I assume did not test it) but both are 12v+ with ignition on which is DC(battery connected).

No way to convert the AC to that without problems? Lights, gear indicator, rev counter all seem independent (On their own) of the CDI unit.
