    Hi Humanbeing & NzBrakelathes

Many thanks I'll take a look at these links... incidentally I've got it running OK ish on the DC CDI that was on the bike when I got it, the problems were caused by a single broken wire at the stator and the carb being filthy.

Unfortunately I run the battery flat with with testing so I'm waiting on a charger coming, after which I can do some more playing with the air/pilot screws (another learning curve for me lol).

Will post the next time I've had a play around with it! :)

    Thanks,

Edit: I have a AC CDI from a QJ157FMI (Not B version), could I make this 'fit' ? - Its same as http://www.seekpart.com/product/Moto...I-1811727.html
based on the colors off your stator I would say its set to power a DC CDI, The colors off your R/R what are they?

8pin CDI is 3x cheaper than CDI 2+3pins (like original GN CDI, second picture) that why i was ask. if it will work (if i good connect wires) and nothing burn ;) than i will be happy. i judge performance when i do it.

DjAbra. Try to ask at forum Klub Chińskich Motocykli.

Maybe we will find in your location someone who have a keeway rks. We can try.

    Are u 100% sure it's the CDI's problem?
Sometimes pickup (although it's RARE) is the cause https://translate.google.com/transla...thorid%3D75082 ...
    ---
CDI somtimes may repairable (ie. the IC still in working order...)
