Wanted Japanese motorcycle to restore

I am looking for a motorcycle to restore preferably Japanese and even better if its a two stroke but anyhing considered even old race bikes or incomplete bikes. Let me know what you have.

I know a guy who has a Yamaha 400 street bike... I forgot the exact model. I'll send you a PM with his email. I think it's a late 90's, right now running and riding but plenty still to do to it to make it beautiful.

Hey yep,

Galenernet & I know the same guy.
The bike is a 1998 Yamaha XJR400 and he's looking to sell.
- made in Japan, solid as a tank and the drivetrain is solid. No leaks, pistons/rings not sucking a drop of oil and she burns clean. Crank and clutch both bullet-proof.

Has 22,000 kliks on the clock (barely 13,000 miles in nearly 20 years).

I have a Kymco (Taiwanese bike) 125cc Stryker that is in need of some love.
Runs great
2000 miles.
Starts and runs.
Fairing are in good condition just a few small scuffs etc.
Engine and swing arm are all in excellent condition and barely any rust anywhere on the bike.
Needs Rev counter looking at as it dont work correctly and also needs the fuel tap (petcock valve and filter)
Cogs and chain needing replaced as old and worn, chain is really rusty.
