Yeah there are some other threads on this. Basically you need new throttle bodies and maybe an ECU remap. Expensive.

Hey everyone. I’m in Australia also also have a LAMS restriction on my 2017 650nk. I’m looking for the threads on derestriction but can’t seem to find them. Anyone know where they are?

As far as I can tell on the 2017 model you only need to remove a governing plate from the throttle body but I’m unsure if it will throw an engine light or if there is any Remapping required. Any insight or direction to a relevant thread would be appreciated. Cheers :).

Hope it worths it. My friend got this 650NK project that we'll work on after we finished installing the headache rack and bakflip cover on the truck this week. He's looking to derestrict the bike as well.
