Senke has nearly abandoned the domestic market or they are seeking to start domestic sales?
Their production is up and is nearly 100% exported.
Overall sales of 250cc models, for the entire industry, are up nearly 10% for the first quarter 2016, increased over 25% for the month of April 2016, seasonality, sales of 250cc models will hit records if the trend, and it likely will, persists.
Senkes success is likely due to its release of its Raptor and it being sold in the UK as a Lexmoto as well as in Poland as a Romet.
Senke developed a very intriguing 300cc model they call the T-Leopard, intended for export.
That model may actually be better suited for Domestic sales.
I believe that both Romet and Lexmoto failed at taking these decent offerings to the next level.
Romet could have offered both of these under its recently acquired Zipp brand as Lexmoto could have offered these under its Pulse Brand.
Neither seems interested in taking up the SK300, setting the SK125 up under a different brand then following it with a 300cc version would have gotten attention.
If they want to increase the A2 sales, then it would be best done by offering a logical next step model and in alignment of brand differentiation. Since Romet and Lexmoto both already have the built infrastructure of a dealer support network, then differentiate offerings by brand and in that offer OEM specific lines within that.Last edited by MJH; 06-15-2016 at 03:27 PM.
