Whats up everyone? I just ordered a new luggage setup! The boxes are made of polycarbonate or something with some Nylon Mesh type covering.

Either way, I am thinking to drill a few holes into the tops of the bags and adding a few eyelets to each one. I will use washers to help keep it strong and gorilla glue to keep the material from fraying.

What do you think of this idea? I want to be able to easily use a bungie or tie luggage down. Here is a photo of the bags and a photo of the eyelets. This is for the KTM Duke 390.

So the new side Bags are mounted on the side frames and you are thinking about drilling the side bags top and fix some Eye bolts so you can use some bungees to hold something down across the top and maybe on the sides as well ?

P.S. I love the new luggage setup very nice what make are there

The bags are some KTM knock offs my wife found on Taobao. I don't want the bunjies on the frame because they always scratch up my pretty paint job. So I figured I would use eyelets to hold down some light stuff on top like a tent or bed roll. Nothing to crazy. The polycarbonate seems pretty thick. I think as long as I use decently wide washers on both sides it will work out ok. I will cover it in and out with silicone to keep the water out.

I be more inclined to fit the eye bolts to the frame somewhere or use rubber ended bungees.
