Buying the wife a scooter. Recommendations?

Hello everyone!

My wife currently has an E-scooter but the range is not quite what she needs. She is constantly finding her self in a position where she has to peddle home. Since she has her Chinese motorcycle license we decided to get her a small gas powered bike.

Were not looking for something big or expensive. Just for her to commute to work 4 days a week in the city. More storage is great and a seat that sits 2 comfortably. I don't know anything about scooters but were hoping to get something for 5k or less. I see a lot of them in this price range on Taobao. I would like to get the best bike for the money. Not sure if something that is fairly safe for her to ride can be picked up in that range.

What brand/model would you suggest?

I know no one responded but that is ok. Either way I ended up getting a Dayang 125 GeGe R. It was 5800rmb. Here are a few pictures of her new ride.

Does anyone have exp with Dayang?

I think you Chinese-based members are hit or miss as far as experiences with local bikes go! Here in the states, since I personally know the TGB distributor, I would have suggested a TGB

yeah and from reading the forums everyone for the most part was buying slightly higher end bikes then me so I am likely heading for disaster.

sorry to tell you but they 'soaked' you on the price.... go talk to the owner and see what he can do! that should sell for around 4000 rmb
