Ive never heard of this until recently. But its maintenance and good value for money for HP/KW.
There is packing inside of the exhaust that gets old and needs to be replaced.
You can buy it from Ebay or a motorcycle store for around $20.00 herw in Australia.
I got the normal one cause of an exhaust upgrade i will be doing. But if you like standard exhaust get the FMF packing cause it aperently increases HP?.

Remove your exhaust and make sure its cold.
    Drill rivets out.

Make sute you take note on the way the exhaust comes apart.

Unwrap the exhaust wrapping from the exhaust chamber.
Mine was held together with 2 pieces of wire.

Clean the inside of the outer housing at this stage i figured i would purchess an after market exhaust after i do my first dyno run as a standard bike.
I painted mine with heat proof paint dunno why.

The build quality is just good looks but inside is no performance exhaust quality it would make good power with an exhaust up grade.

Now wrap your wrapping arond inner tube not too tight and not to loose. You can spread the wrapping if its a little too short. I used some aluminum mig welding wire to hold it together.

Now stuff it into the outer tube using aflat head and force it slips in easy if done right.

Put your exhaust pipe and end cap on and rivet it back together
