Hello, I've been China bike riding for a couple years now riding on a 2005 Tank Trail-200 D/S. I also have a 2006 Suzuki DR650, but I prefer the Tank on the logging roads/trails because it is light and easy to handle on the tight trails of the WA Cascades (Snoqualmie Pass area).

I have a cabin at Hyak on Snoqualmie Pass and ride the 'endless miles' of logging roads. My buddy had an XR200 (see pic below from last summer).

Here is me and my boy with our bikes...

Oh, and here is one of my other rides....(I have 3 motorcycles), a Russian Ural Sportsman (2wd) that also makes a great dual-sport bike, but a little wide for the trails.

A Ural rider! You must have then no doubt be checking out some of Sabine's videos. Those bikes have tons of character and you get pretty intimate with them real fast since you're always screwing with them to keep em' running.

I've actually had very little problems with my bike since I've had it (now 12 years). Most of my problems have been self-induced. The bikes are too simple, being of 1950's technology all you need is bailing wire and duct tape for a repair kit!..

All right! A fellow Ural rider on MCM. Welcome Tank Rider.

I've got a 03' Patrol in my garage. Great bikes!
