In the US, a company called California Scooter Company, or CSC, posted a photo of an upcoming bike they plan to bring to the US. CSC rebrands Zongshen bikes, and their newest bike, a cafe-style racer, is from Zongshen. Not sure where this is coming from.

The Zongshen Infinity doesn't look like meeting the EURO4 unfortunatly. Or have I missed something?
    Thanks anyways!

It was very coincidental; CSC had just posted this bike to their blog and posted a video, and then you were inquiring about a bike that looked very similar. Shame if the Zongshen couldn't meet EURO4. It is apparently manufactured by the joint venture of Zongshen with Piaggio, so there might be a chance they will keep their options open for Europe.

I believe all the carbureted versions of any of these 125cc sold in the EU will have to be sold by the of 2017, after that they must be EFI. I would say that any non EFI version is 2016 or older inventory. If I got that correct.
The infinity may or may not end up in the EU, the little classics style models are very popular and most offered today are not EFI, so whichever OEM offers an EFI model for the best prices to their distributors will likely get the sales in Europe.
Zongshen is an OEM for some of Piaggios models, the Infinity is not one of them.

I must have been a little confused. On the thread about the CSC bike on Chinariders, member Humanbeing pointed out that this bike was manufactured by the joint venture between Zongshen and Piaggio.

Doesn’t really matter, which factory it is coming out of. It seem a like a decent bike for CSC to offer.

I was originally thinking that if it was Piaggio, perhaps there is an off chance that they would build EURO compliant versions of it; more so than Zongshen on its own. The original poster, svoigt, could and should find out if there is an off chance they will have a EURO4 version. It couldn't hurt to ask...

My thought is that the brand name does not matter, Zongshen has been adding Euro4 models to about every European brand name for the past year. Sinnis has two, anything 2017 is E4, both the Terrain and RSX are E4, they have not released any images of their Goodwood yet, maybe it will be the Inifinty? Again, anything that is 2017 model year has to meet E4 and in that have EFI. Svoigt should consider that all the carbureted 125cc classic style bikes I believe will either be replaced with EFI versions so there is likely to be a big sell off at the end of 2017?
Zonghen could put the same 125cc EFI engine they are putting in other models into the Infinity and then it be E4, what am I missing?
