05-09-2017, 09:48 PMCan PLEASE anyone tell me if this engine will fit the skyteam v-raptor/retro 250(223cc)?
or maybe anyone can tell where to buy an engine? already contacted skyteamparts.com and waiting for their proposal, but would like to know more.
My engine is dead, local dealer does not and will not have it, and i need to take care of it myself..
Big thanks to you all

http://www.ebay.it/itm/151895321544?...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
this is the only proper one I found on ebay in Europe (599 euros + shipping)
other distributors of Skyteam parts can sell you parts but not a complete engine
I wasn't able so far to find a decent used engine
Other distributors or dealers from China and other world areas can ask you less than that but you'll have to add shipping and custom tax expenses, depending on where you live
listening to other disappointed owners like you and me I came to the sad conclusion that this bike is a piece of junk...........rarely getting to 5000 kms without major mechanical problems
i liked it a lot and enjoyed it for a year and a half but i have no other choice now, sending it to wreckage in exchange for a discount on a new moped for my kids (likely a chinese one, as they are less stolen over here)
by the way, the correct displacement of engine is 223 cc and the model is LC166FMM air cooled
if you have mechanical abilities and time to use you can search online for the video where an aussie guy took off the original engine and adapted/installed a water cooled 250 cc ZongShen unit instead..............very nice piece of job done

05-12-2017, 04:27 PMThank you doc!
I live in Israel and the law here says that only a 166FMM can be registered with that bike. Sadly, it's no option for me...

I guess your only chance is to keep looking for a used/new engine and get it shipped by boat, cheaper than airplane
or you can just get rid of the bike maybe selling it piece by piece and get a new and better quality one
sad but true, our experiences confirm this
