I'm not at all familiar with old Chinese bikes, so I have no idea which family or group this one belongs too. However it looks interesting so I thought I'd post it. These pics were taken in Shanghai at the traffic circle near the Pearl Tower.

Derivative of the "plastic" Chang. So called 'cause it's body panels look like they should be made of plastic but aren't.
Basically a later BMW copied frame.......same old 12v flat head engine or OHV motor as an option..... additionally along with the OHV came with the Showerhead....a water cooled variant of the OHV.
Also: FengTong, LongDong, Guan(something) and others. Various levels of build quality and uglyness of design.

The B2's are a bit quicker, why I have no idea.... You can get them from Beijing used in good condition for about 4000 rmb without plates.... The suspensions are softer and the bike sits higher.... I fancy rebuilding one for fun since no one in Shanghai really does it..... But the CJ shop I work for wont allow it outside because its ugly....(owner opinion not mine)
