Hello all. I am new to the site and have found a wealth of information on Chinese engines. Thank you. Now that I have a pretty good education on the various engines, I just need to conform my thoughts here. I have a 153fmi horizontal engine with a bent crankshaft. I have a 154fmi horizontal engine i was going to pull the crank from to fix 153. 153 would have a 52.4mm bore where 154 is 54mm bore. This tells me the stroke is different which also tells me the crankshaft must be different. Both are 125cc engines. Would I need to swap the jug, head, piston and crank then? Thank for the help.

As you never know in China the displacement of both engines are not necessarily identical and exactly 125cc. I would measure the stroke length of both parts and see the result.

Good idea. Easier just removing the head rather than tear it all apart.

154 is probably so called "big bore" horizontal and this with 52,4 mm bore (and 49,5 mm stroke) is probably marked as 152 FMI, not 153. This one is "small bore" horizontal and his displacement is 107 cc. Also, internal layout is, IMO, differs - the big one's clutch basket is probably on the gearshaft, while on the other engine, clutch basket is on the crankshaft. As Italians would say, "in breve": no parts swaps there.
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...
