Last I read was these are being sold for around 80/85K RMB in China, and then you have to pay 7%Tax?
    YES, it's a HONDA.
But with the CFMoto 650MT starts at 38.500 RMB and has over 20hp more?
The wise money should be on the MT?
As usual its all a question the wallet and prince is right, that a CFmoto is a good alternative.

I think it's RMB 71800 or something around this. When I asked they only said 7万多 so I guess it's about 80000 altogether

    Thanks, Modron
    For the updated price.
I have ridden a CB500X for nearly 30.000 KM in Thailand and is truly an amazing bike to ride, a little bit down on power but not really an ADV bike, that said nor is the MT.
1 year of riding the MT with close to 30.000km all over China, and comparing the 2 bikes IMO the MT is a better bike generally and is better value for money.

That said I can understand why the CB500X has sold so many, IMO with the Chinese buyer it is all to do with "FACE".
So one could buy 2 MT for the price of 1 CB500X, is the Honda 2 times a better bike?.

You need to ride both to decide for yourself.

If the pricing for the CB500X was more realistic and let's say around the 55K mark, then yes for sure I would pick the CB over the MT.

The dealer said that they will be getting Super Dual this month and possibly they will have one to test ride :)

They will call me when it arrives. Will take some pics.
Hi Modrod - I would really love to get my hands on this bike. About 1 month ago I contacted the SWM people via the website and they gave me a contact in China to call whom told me they wouldn't be importing this bike till 2019 at earliest. A local dealer here in Shanghai also told me the same. If you do ever manage to try one at your dealer I would love to know where and how to try myself. Thanks !

The electric scooter itself is fine, I just dont like the traffic organization. You have to stay on bike lanes on which people cycle/ride in any direction imaginable, people walk, cars are parked. Kids will jump in front of you so you can only ride like 10km/h at best. And when you want to turn left you have to wait twice for the green light because you have to follow the pedestrian crossing.

I just get very frustrated riding an ebike here

Looks like after all the years the Superdual is finally coming to China. It will be fully build in China so one can expect lower price. Having owned Shineray in the past Im worried about the quality control. They will prolly destroy that Husky engine. I spoke to some local riders who said that the Chinese internet claims the bike will be significantly heavier. Some say over 30kg heavier. Not sure what to think about this. They also said the bike will be released at the end of the year

Are they using pig Iron or something?
I've mostly heard about bikes being lighter by having less features and being less safe but to gain 30 kilos sounds crazy.
