    Hello,
    I am from Croatia

I need help. I'm looking for an unrestricted CDI for my Gilera Coguar 125, 4t, made in 1999. It has a Honda engine xlr125.

I found a CDI that might work, but I'm not sure about it. It's this one

    https://m.ebay.com/itm/UNRESTRICTED-...-/262840192487

It would be very helpful to hear from someone who already installed unrestricted CDI on a bike such as mine or on a Honda motor, like mine. I checked the wiring diagram and it seems to correspond. So, I was wondering if someone can confirm if that CDI from the link would be ok to install on my Gilera.

    Thanks in advance!

It might work. They said that as long as they have the same pin, and it fits perfectly, it will work.

I am sure that circuit is AC.CDI has 6 pins 4/2.I have + & kill switch on 2 pin part and bike is running when I disconnect the battery.
I am concerned about wires on 2 pin part.Found out that on some CDI + & kill are switched and this one has no pin diagram. My Gillera has + up and kill switch down on original pin.If I connect that CDI I could burn it so if someone have that one would really appriciate for positions of + & kill ;)

    What?! Stock CI656A [Honda#: 30410-KCM-008 https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0157K74T2] is a DC-CDi
Who tells u DC-CDI can't run w/o battery when reg/rec still in there / NO way to feed AC power to CDI from such kind of stator...

Anyway the fleabay seller's info is very fishy. '04 UK model is XR125L ie. ohv (just like CG) & using 8-pin Denso...
If that bike is mine, i would find a unrestriced DC-Cdi Example: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=523953487109 & re-arrage the pin(s) & get the joob done @ fraction of it

Thank you for your sugestion fo DC CDI. I'm not very good with electronics, as you have instantly figured out.

I would appreciate, since I can't decide, for a recomendation of an unrestricted CDI for my Gilera, if you are willing. A link to the product would be most helpful, but not in chinese because I can't understand it. Best regards from Croatia!IMG_20180505_180348.jpgIMG_20180505_175746.jpg
