I have a shineray xy250 ste. Have a knocking noise while in gear and being ridden. while out of gear the engine sounds spot on. Any common problems with these engines or any ideas what it could be.

It does feel bit loose. Could that give a knocking noise which sounds like its in engine. The chain has a tensioner on too. the noise deffinatly sounds like in engine rather than outside engine.
