10-05-2018, 06:30 PMRecently got my A1 and looking for a new bike to replace my Yamaha. I had a quick question about taxes - will I be paying any extra for selling the bike? I'm not quite sure how it all works but hopefully I'll find out soon! I've had a poke around this tax website I found but I'm not sure if that's the right thing or not - can someone explain how it works? Cheers! ;)

12-11-2018, 11:00 PMNo - when you sell a motorcycle there is no tax to pay or declare - you should get a small refund on the Vehicle excise licence (car tax) - the Tax site that you sent is for EARNINGS and not for when you sell property, cars. bikes ect - hope that helps
