    Hello All,

Me again with yet another issue with my brother-in-laws bike.

This time its wheel bearings, I have found the rear ones 6003 2z (i think), But if I am replacing the rear i might as well do the front too. Now here lies the issue. I am unable to find a part number / name or anything i can figure out.

Does anyone one have info on these bearings?

thanks again for help in advance.

Letters after the numbers doesn't matters the size. https://www.rushsports.co.za/blogs/n...a-bearing-mean Apart from the aboves, 2RZ (2 sides rubber seal non-contact type. Koyo calls it 2RU) in chinese bearing.
Choose 1 fits ur job. Anyway those w/ rubber seal(s) seems Big 4's choice as wheel bearing ...

Wait a minute https://web.archive.org/web/2016*/ht.../TMEC200-1.pdf said REAR is 6202 in the 200 sibling Look the # from old 1 seems the best solution.

Just a heads up and hopefully you figured this out on your own. It is very likely that the overwhelming % of bearings being sold in China are of inferior quality and if they have a quality brand name they are very likely fakes. Whether this applies to other countries probably depends on the country, but if they come from China all bets are off. Thirty minutes on Taobao or any other Chinese site and you will see what I mean. The majority of sites selling "imported" brand name bearings are selling them a substantially less then they sell for in the country where they are alleged made. A little time on the sellers store page often reveals other evidence that the bearings are fakes. This is a problem that the Chinese are well aware of, but either can't or won't do much to stop. In 40 plus years of riding motorcycles wheel bearings were pretty much an issue only in bikes that were routinely power washed, or that sit out in weather for long periods of time. I rarely saw anyone actually wear out wheel bearings. I coming to learn that in China and in Chinese bikes wheel bearings are 'wear items' with often a very short life span. The front bearings in my Colove 500x failed 5 months from new with 12000 km. I've found Chinese believe this is normal and accept it. It is not normal where quality standards are upheld and it is not acceptable. Crap bearings are potentially a serious hazard to riders.

In short quality bearings are not that expensive and in my opinion not something you should attempt to save money on. The problem I've encountered in China is regardless of the cost, finding something that you can believe is not fake is very difficult. I had to enlist the help of Shuben, a member of this site, to find a reputable distributor. I also recommend staying away from any bearing manufactured in China. China is capable and does manufacture quality parts including bearings; but Chinese are also capable and do print names and package extremely low quality bearings with quality brand names.
