Put some Avon Road Rider tires on my gy6, and lowered it, added a trunk, custom rack, and led signals up front, not sure if I want to keep the signals.

Hey Jim man right on with the creative photoshop work! She looks good and the tires must be a biiig change (no more whir whir whir).
Are the LED signals the same brightness or weaker?

11-08-2008, 01:47 AMLooks good Jim .
Now your officially an ON-Roader TT Rider not a dual-sport guy anymore .
Obviously your riding style and lots of pavement riding enabled the bike to become more serious for the street now . I bet she handles pretty darn nice with those Avons , fine tires indeed . Probably very sticky in the rain now too .
Mud well , if you like to flat track I guess . I have always liked the feel of a good street thumper , and that is what it is now . Blinkers look fine by the way as long as they work well .

Thanks for the comments guys... First off, you are both right about the blinkers... They weren't very bright, the stock worked better so they went back on and I took the unopened blinkers back to the store (I have 2 left, I never put on the rear).
The tires did seem to handle really well, when I first tested them it was pouring, and I tried it up and down the road at probably 75km's or so, and it worked great. I also tried hard braking in the rain (slower speeds though) and it stopped great without sliding, I'm sure the stock ones would have locked up and slid.
Right now I don't have insurance on it though, I've spent about all I can for the next while, just moved into an apartment (or I guess it's called a condo because I bought it?), and bought a 97 sunfire for commuting to work... Once I get some more money though, I'll insure the Lifan again, after all that's the reason for the Avon's, to commute.

Hi all, saw this thread and thought i'd put up some pics of my XTR! (Galaxy XTR 250)
I bought it 2 months ago and highly recommend it! It's really not a bad dirt bike! I fitted the motard wheels a couple of weeks ago and been having a lot of fun with it!
Also thought i'd throw in some pics of the sidecar; since i do a lot of off-roading with it i thought it'd be appropriate!
ps: Supersignet your pics are amazing, and your bike ain't half bad either! i almost bought one before settling on the XTR!
