    Hello all,

I am new to the forum & I have been looking to see if anyone else has posted about what I am after but I can’t seem to find it.

I have a Lexmoto Assault (HJ125-J) in blue and I am looking to replace the exhaust with a Lextek YP4 exhaust system. Once I have changed it over I would like to tune the fuel to help with the large exhaust. I have never done this before so I have no clue what needs to be done. I have been looking at different carb jets but I don’t know what would be best.

If anyone has any information about what I could do, I would be really appreciate it.

    Regards

    Hi,

    a) is it carburetor or EFI?
    b) let the new exhaust more air through?

    Hey,

Sorry for the late replay work has been crazy.

    It is a carb.

    For carburetor:
    a) warm the engine up
    b) let it run in idle mode
    c) set the idle speed to about 1800RPM for a smaller single cylinder engine
    d) find the air/fuel mix screw at the carb
    e) turn it (nearly) completely in but let the engine not die
    f) turn it out slowly (engine will rev up) until you you find the max RPM (dont play on the throttle meanwhile)
    g) turn the air/fuel mix screw in a half turn again
    h) finally readjust the idle speed.

Normally you dont need to change the jet configuration in the carb.

    Let us know your achievement.
