Just checking out links and found a site which I believe is Russian (someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong) which has the QingQi 250GY!!! I think the page is actually a review but I have no idea what it's saying.

No mistaking, it's the 250 alright and even the 250-2D. Worth checking out our Eastern European comrades!

That site is some sort of bike club, but they keep referring to SKYMOTO. This an importer from the Ukraine, but the website doesn't show the bigger Qingqi's at all. Perhaps it's not updated yet.

We do have members here from the Ukraine. Perhaps they'll know more.

I'll ask the Spanish importer if they intend to import any of them. I'd get the 250-2d like a shot, but I'm not hopeful. The recession is really hitting bike sales here, for example the local Suzuki factory is on short time, massively overstocked and their sales are down 55% on bikes and 85% on ATV's...
To help things along the incompetent (but very stylish) Socialist Government here has just introduced some lovely new taxes on bikes to curtail sales and try and keep the accident rate down.

Che1974 made this post, but haven't heard from him since. I assume the importers have some good connections at QingQi, because it aint easy getting your hands on those bikes.

I think the Ukraine and lots of other countries may be a "hotter" market for these bikes.

We are familiar with how well the Qingqi 200 motards sold in the US through QLINK, so I couldn't see any reason that 250 versions of the motard/dirt bike and a naked version wouldn't sell well here--but Qlink will be selling the Megelli 250's here, and no one else seems to have Qingqi's here, so the US will most likely not see them
