The connection will be fine it is so far up out the way i cant see water getting near them and are better then the chinese "way"mine are done lol

12-15-2013, 03:42 PMMy horns have gone from loud to quiet.. you can barely hear them any more! mind you this is 650NK so they are exposed to elements much more but bike has been washed and and still not enough noise!! i am thinking to replace horns with Samji SJ-602 Digital horns BUT these are big horns!! prod_photo_08.gif

Wald0, check the wiring, any inline fuse and any of the connections as it maybe something simple. I have a set of horns similar to the ones you've posted a picture of, though the ones I have are mounted on my Dragstar 1100, sound similar to an electronic air horn (loud) and have a plastic chrome finish. Can't comment on the fitting, since you've got the NK.
