That's actually a great deal on those bikes! I wonder if there's really any difference between the 08 and 09 models to justify the costs? I don't recall any major changes between the years.
It is certainly possible they're trying to make room for the up and coming 250's. As far as North America is concerned.... 250 is the magic number. Either way, the 200's would make for a great short range commuter or starter bike and at a great price.
If they were smart, they would have kept the prices at this level over the past four years and they wouldn't have any of this excess inventory left over.
Silly importers, bikes are for riders.
