Member 'Humanbeing' seems to have a treasure trove of diagrams; if he does not chime in here, you could try PM'ing him

This is the wiring diagram for the 2010 DF. Probably good for your B.
There should be one in your owner's manual.

I know this thread is almost 600 pages long--I am sure someone (probably you, Barnone) had posted the wiring diagram before!
As far as the seat goes, let me talk to my friend at Excalibur Motorsports; a couple weeks ago, the Dong Fang rep approached him to carry the DF products. My guess is the US operation is near Excalibur in So. Cal, so my friend should be able to find a seat for you.
You can call Alan at 909-591-8800 and ask if he can track down a seat for you.

Me on the Dragon. Last run there until I get back in April.
Like the 2016 green ones!

does anyone know of any common problems with the 2010 df250 rtb headlight I replaced the bulb and the daytime running light and that didn't help. so if there is a simple headlight assembly that is compatible with the stock mounts and simple to wire that would be helpful.:icon10:
Do you know how to use a volt ohm meter and read a wiring diagram? If so go back a few posts and look at the wiring diagram. You should be able to trouble shoot the problem. Just swapping out the headlight assemble is not the way to solve this problem.
This might give you some ideas as to how to supply enough full power to the head light shell and not through the dimmer switch.
H4 Kits
I still would get a meter and the wiring diagram and trouble the problem and not start just swapping out things.
I totally agree !
When the meter shows the pathetic amount of volts at the base of the bulb, I offered a way to increase power to existing bulb or how to power a larger output bulb.
The small wire gauge that most manufactures use is rampant through out the industry. Starting with stator to regulator/rectifier and beyond.
From the post it appeared that he had no light coming from the headlight or parking light. That would indicate a lack of power.
hey there everyone. Havent been around much, been dealing with life in general.
Can say that I am still riding, got in a replacement motor for the old one, and it did the trick. Not exact, but close enough. Seems the configuration is a bit smaller than the original. I had to fabricate some motor mount extensions for the front as they did don extend that far out off the motor. Anyway. She runs. Has a really hard vibration.Cruising around 40-45 is ok, but anything over that and the motor has this resonating sound about it, and the vibrations are horrendous.
May go after another motor, but they are not easy to locate.
Now on another note, I would like to replace my carburetor and wondered if this will do the trick.

Or is there something else I should go for.
Plus one question. Where does that vacuum line from the bottom of the carb go to on the motor?
Well aside form that, if anyone has some input, great. I also hope that every ones holidays are rockin.
On mine, that tube from the bottom of the carb just vents straight down between the frame and out the underside of the bike.
Yes. That PZ30 will work. Jetting may be off. That line at the bottom of the carb isn't a vacuum line. It's the float bowl drain line. Open the screw on the side of the float bowl, and fuel will drain onto the ground. There's a lot of info on tuning these engines with the pz30 carb on dirt bikes and enduros over on chinariders.com forum.
A lot of Chinariders members seem to get the Mikuni (probably a clone) for not much more than the PZ30 ($40 approx) and even though they are clones, the Mikuni jets work well. The 'Mikuni' has woken up quite a few Chinariders' members enduros.
Look at these examples--I believe you would want the 30mm VM26 'Mikuni' but ben2go would probably narrow it down for you, or someone with more knowledge (most of our members :lol8:) could confirm...

I just reread what I wrote--I meant to say someone with more knowledge than me, as it seems to be an insult to you...sorry ;)
Thanks all.
Hope everyone had a safe fun Holiday.
Weather here has been crazy. We have been in the 80's all week. Been doing alot of riding.
Although I have replaced my motor.I am really not 100% satisfied with it. The vibration at 50-55 and up seems a bit unnerving at times. Plus the fact it has a shorter size overall as well.I had to fabricate motor mount extensions in the bottom front mounts, as the engine mounts did not reach the frame. But everything else was exactly the same. I am still in the market for a new replacement motor. I just have not been able to find anything for this bike. So, if you have a place.. feel free to pass that along.I would be appreciative.
Enjoy and Happy New Year to all.
Hey everyone happy new year! I NEED HELP. I am trying to get wiring diagrams for the DF-RTB-B-250. I took off the old turn signals and tail lights, bought some after market and now they wont work. I am not sure if they are wired wrong or what the deal is. Anyone with Wiring diagrams for the tail light and turn signals please help. Thanks
Don't know if this will help

I had the same issue when I took off all the turn signals and just replaced the tail light. all wiring was connected but did not work. Then I had a friend look at it. Turns out I was having a ground problem. Hooked a wire to another ground spot and they worked. Just putting that out there. Probably just a faulty ground. Good luck.
so is everyone gone? Haven't heard a word around here for a while. Maybe the weather has everyone hibernating.
If anyone is out there, could someone point me to another motor. I am not real happy with this replacement. It came out of a sport bike.I would like to find an actual bobber motor. But the interweb seems to be fighting me.I cannot seem to locate any. Just hoping for a lead. Thanks.
I'm still here.
First step in finding the right engine.
Someone refresh my memory and tell me who makes the DF250RTB motor.
Barnone, i may be wrong, but all the chinese OHV(Honda cg clone) engines have the same mounting points. So i would say search for an 177fmm ohv engine. You can take lifan, loncin, zontes (tyan), and if not then you can buy a "no name".
You can also search for lifan ohc engine. It can be that he will also fit.
Thanks but I am not looking for an engine as mine is doing just fine, knock on wood.
Bowtie is the one that is looking for the correct engine for his DF. Seems that he got a 167fmm that would not fit the motor mounts and had to do some modifications.
I am asking who is the maker of the engine that comes in the DF. That is the one I would buy if I needed an engine.
The OHC would be nice but will it fit in the frame? Might be too tall.
There are a lot of engines from China that might work but they have to be EPA approved to bring into the USA.
Ok, EPA is a problem.
We have in EU the engine as a part of the vehicle, so we do not have the numbers in the documents. If we change to another engine no one will find this out if it is the same cc.
