True, some more informative videos would be nice but they're likely more worried about marketing the product and building some hype. If I was in a better part of the country for really testing DS bikes I wouldn't mind reviewing them myself. This 400 is worth a more critical review....no matter how it turns out.

I don't think it would turn out too bad. Now that the weather is going down into the 80's (F, not C) around here from the 110 (F, not C) last week, this would be as good a part of the country as any :riding:. There are some nice dirt/fire roads in the national forests out here but they're all pretty busy. :taz:

I am very seriously considering a career change from babysitting, er special education teacher, to nursing, which would require me to quit full-time work for 18 months, so I should have time for testing things between classes.... :mwink:

Have any of you guys heard any more about this bike? I had a DRZ400SM in the past and this bike seems to be on par with it, plus the added sixth gear!!!
