You're welcome; Just passing the info on... :gerg:
"Business Development Manager Joel Kusuma Benelli Motor Indonesia explained that preparation of the launch of Benelli motorcycle brand in Indonesia is currently being prepared carefully. "If there is no obstacle we will launch in February," he explained, Monday (16/1).
However, the exact date of arrival of the motor is in the country should wait for certainty schedule Benelli Italian officials, who planned to be also present at the ceremonial launch of Benelli in Indonesia.
At first, Benelli will be fielded three major motor models such as the Benelli Cafe Racer 1130, Century Racer Benelli 899 and Benelli Tre-K 1130, which is also prepared to pave the way Benelli in Indonesia.
"We actually have a lot of products. Want our sport bike or scooter there. Of the 150 cc, 250 cc up to a thousand cc are also available. For the first three first bike," explains Joel.
"After that, we will incorporate other models of small air-cc. So his brothers once we enter a new, younger siblings," said Joel."
I stand corrected! Possibly. So maybe they'll launch Feb in Indonesia?
Dear MJH and Shadow
Good to have this discussion back in this thread where it belongs.
This quote above would indicate the the 600 is NOT in the first batch, so hopefully there's been a change of plans. Would love to see the QJ600GS in the wild getting some road testing!
cheers

they have : trek 1130, cafe racer 1130, century racer 1130, BJ600GS, dragon 150, scooter 250 and 125 (???) and moped 125 (???)
the trek cafe racer, century racer and BJ is the only thing attracting my attention....hahaha
Benelli BJ600GS
for the BJ600GS...from my point of view, personally, is a good motorcycle with good quality and finishing...its gorgeous...i guess it will be worth to have...
for test ride, i have already book a test ride session which they will inform me for the schedule...i also booked around 10 people from my side which is my friends.
additional info for the test ride will be reported here.
for BJ600GS price issues...they will sell in about USD 10K until USD 12K....not decided yet...they asked my opinion...i said, you will be crashed by kawasaki...they sell ER6n with USD 10K....
Benelli Cafe Racer and Century Racer
this is a confirm also to be sell at USD 30K or higher....whewww...not reachable for me...hahahaha
but the good news is I will still have the opportunity to test ride them....hehehehe
okay, i can't talk too much for the performance for every motorcycle since it will need time until i already ride them by myself....
so hopefully a ride test session will be held soon...can't wait for it...

hi Lao,
i don't know what to say....
one thing for sure, every human made must have something not perfect...
So what is the difference between the Benelli Dragon 150 and the QianJiang 150-19A? Besides a slightly different shaped headlight and the QJ doesn't have Benelli written on it... are they the same price?
Below is a link to Lobotomouses 2011 QJ150-19A.
QianJiang 150-19A
And some pics for comparison

hi pete,
the Benelli Dragon 150 will be sell around US$ 1,700,- (and this is not confirmed yet)
the different the engine...this is when I talked to Benelli people...
there are two type of engine for the Dragon 150...one is using 100 percent QJiang 150 engine, and the Dragon 150 is using 50 percent from Italy and 50 percent from QJiang 150...also they made it different from the muffler...the Dragon 150 is using midship model muffler and the QJiang 150 is using standard motorcycle muffler........this is once again that Benelli people told me...
I am not interested in 150cc engine since I have a big body (182 CM and 95 kgs)....:icon10:
Indeed. I noticed the muffler looks different.
Thanks for the clarification Shadow.
Yeah, a 150cc engine begins to feel pretty small pretty quickly, and I'm only 60kg.
Are you interested in a 250 or something like a 600?
We're all hoping that won't be the case.
If they can just get there act together, provide good access to the spare parts we need and maybe train a few mechanics to do things like the "proper valve adjustments" that the bike will need... (I'm quoting ChinaV from Page 1 there) then I'm sure they'll sell really well...:pigsfly2:... I still have my hopes up.

then click on the words Benelli Service....
then the words manage you warranty....
They are kind of disorganized…however considering the age of the new company it is understandable.
These motorcycles are being offered under many brand names and that troubles me…what they are doing in Indonesia makes sense but in other regions it starts to come off like the preverbal dogs dinner
The bike is rumored to be sold as a Keeway RK6 in South America and will be distributed by Zanella http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...Keeway_600.jpg Its engine may not be 100% original and may actually be a copy of a version of the Yamaha R6 engine? It is also rumored to have significantly less power then the R6, being at around 88hp. (rumor) http://allmotoreviews.com/wp-content...-yamaha-r6.jpg
Generic has its fourth coming version rated at 81hp…and also that it is in fact a 16 valve.
Here is the question, if you own one of these motorcycles sold under the various brands, then can you or will you be able to access information through the single Benelli service portal?
These types of systems or processes require UML in practice, at the onset is best as well.

I understand that this isn't the correct thread and not wanting to hijack this one, but without enough info to start a new one... I thought I'd throw this out there. Jialing, yes J i a l i n g are said to be manufacturing a 600 or 650cc inline 4 cylinder 4 stroke naked road bike, on sale at the moment in the high 39K price bracket... this is according to a serious motorcycling mate I was speaking too yesterday late arvo. He's in Taizhou and seen a couple in the flesh, and has laid coin on booking one, as have around a half-a-dozen of my riding mates that are part of our riding circle in these parts. I can't reveal anything more, as I have no other information at the moment, when it comes to hand which is likely this coming weekend upon my mates return, I'll drop some more info on MCM.
They had enough trouble making EFI work on one cylinder. Now four? Damn....
