Haojiang's HJ150-J has been picked up by Lexmoto as their Assault 125.

1,099.00 GBP = 1,682.52 USD
These number are only fractional of percentages the Chinese total exports?

Yes, Junak has it listed as a new model for 2016, they are calling it a 123 X.http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...%20123%20x.jpg
Another Haojiang model they share is the Junak 141 and Lexmoto Oregon.

I would like to see Lexmoto, expand its Pulse Brand with another 250cc model, one of which would be the new Haojiang Pantom 250, which seems to be a very good offering out of them. It has a 250cc DOHC engine their version of a Suzuki DR250. Basically they could go upstream with the brand while continuing to offer the 125cc bikes under the Lexmoto brand.

Will be interesting to see what brand pops up as iconic china bike, and will be interesting to see how long it takes.
You mean this?

Yes, Junak has the S250 listed as a 2016 Model.

Both of these will be offered in Peru under the Ronco brand.

http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...ang/Trueno.jpg
Ronco has these listed as well as other Haojiang and Senke models, the two manufactures work cooperatively. Tyan engines are offered in both... they list some models as “Pisteras” “track” in this form of the track? Their way of saying Race Bikes…but they are not really. Anyway they reveal some prototypes, the next SENKE and also what could be a shared version of the Senke Raptor(Ronco Magneto) made by Haojiang as the Bronco.
Senke is working on a new offering they call a T-Leopard or SK300, It looks to be another model with the Zongshen ZS177MM-2 engine. (Ronco Magneto)

Haojiangs HJ125/150 is being offered by Lexmoto as their Assault One Two Five.
They really do a great job with their First Ride Videos....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llLhrgjSY0M
They talk about the high build quality of Haojiang products and their impression of the factory.
Also their Oregon model is a Haojiang HJ125-K also offered through Zontes as a Mantis for the same price.
These and their Venom all share the same engines.
The Phantom S250 is being offered in the UK by Zontes.
http://img.actualidadmotor.com/wp-co...-s250-2016.jpg
2,499.00 GBP = 3,594.54 USD
Domestically the S250 sells for
15,800.00 CNY = 2,440.27 USD
Zontes UK put specs on the engine rating it at about 24.5hp @ 8000 rpm.
The best selling model that Lexmoto offered is their Adrenaline 125, they offer a 250 version through Pulse, they could contract Haojiang to build a 250 version with that engine.
I'm really waiting to hear (and see) some test of this 250.
Kiden is another brand name of Haojiang one used for models sold within the Chinese market.

Domestically sell at : 5899 RMB
Those engines are Tyan engines offered on Haojiang, Tayo, Zontes, Kinden and Senke. However, Senke diverges as they also use other engines, the others do not offer engines sourced from outside of TYAN.
Both major Polish brands, Junak and Romet source out of some common manufactures, separate brand names sourcing from the same suppliers.
I would like to see the DR250 engine used in some other models, they could use the same practice they use for the 125/150/200 engines putting them into lots of different models.
They focused on developing one model for that engine, they should have expanded it into at least three different models. Just like Jialing did with the 223 models.
The HJ150-J which is a very modest attempt at a GY (dual sport) is selling well. I would like to see an HJ250-J same concept just more robust.
Only Senke is offering a classic standard model, a larger version of that with the DOHC 250 would likely be popular.
They need to eventually offer larger engines, midrange singles and twins.
I like your point of view in case of 250cc. But in Poland the importers have problems with selling low sized motorcycles.
The People here have not so much Money to have two or thre bikes. They have one, and then they choose old, used japan 650-700cc.
This is changing because the incomes are rising year to year.
250cc is a choice for People they don't drove a bike for years. They drive it 2-3years and buy a bigger one.
And bigger chinese bikes like cf650 or even korea hyousung are not popular. Because for a new one you cam buy a 5-7years old Japanese bike.
The service is also very bad, because it is seazon job.
And the 125cc are selling very well because you do not need motorcycle license to drive it.
It’s a little complex the endorsement system the EU utilizes, in Poland specifically you automatically get AM (50cc<) and A1 (125cc<) endorsements with a B (passenger car) endorsement.
That system will theoretically generate some increases in sales over time into the A2 class of which a 250cc exists. In that they really need to have some midrange bikes and all priced affordably. Some of them would be sleeved down and or restricted to fit the category.
As far as seasonality, that is not unique to Poland, the dealer’s services departments typically do projects over winter months, if they are smart they do. Its all part of managing a business.
Too many chooses is bad, just causes more headaches lack of parts no manuals or after sales. Welcome to Chinese bikes and choose more common the better

Haojiang from what I have read is one of the manufactures that invested in upgrading and expanding production. So, they have a modern facility and are developing new products.
They do not have a bad reputation.
They are aggressively selling low cost 150cc models under the Kinden brand, the Zontes brand was for export and the same version sold domestically under the Haojiang brand, which also is sold under the Tayo brand in export markets.
They manufacturer engines under the Tayan brand, this is the latest engine it was preceded by their 250cc DOHC which is a copy of a Suzuki engine, the 312cc is water cooled and they are floating numbers like it having 36hp putting it under the KTM Duke 390 and above the BMW 312…it has not been released yet however they are targeting the mainstream markets.
another version of the 312.
http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y.../ZONTE/312.jpg
It is all very complex, the industry is in attrition, what is odd is that it is doing that in ways that appear to be controlled? I imagine they may be restraining through financing and that may be used by some to continue operating. It is too complex to explain, other than it is not a free market, access to capital comes through central banking.
Those that are more directed as in having a clear direction with defined research and development will likely remain and others eventually will close, but that is the thing closing too many too fast will affect the industry adversely, not only that it would displace laborers.
I have no doubt that Haojiang will continue, its production is diverse it is covering all levels of the market. It is developing new models that are likely to sell reasonably well, the 312 will if they got it correct, it will go unnoticed for a while and in that they really need to strengthen export distribution partners. They may want to consider a production partnership in India. Simply because to compete with the BMW and Duke they would need access to their largest market.
They just recently began selling the Zontes brand in China, it was an export brand.
The prioritizing of sale domestically came with an online parts ordering system, they only currently sell the ZT250.
