i did not do the work to fix the sputtering but the tank was pulled and a vacuum line was repaired. i can confirm that my xf200 does not have vent in the cap.Quote:

By the way, have you seen the magnificent workshop manual (in Portuguese unfortunately) that Luis Carlos has made available?. It's for the Brasilian Qingqi, called an STX Sundown, and Crazycarl has made a sticky with the download link on the maintenance section.
It's a brilliant piece of work and although it's in Portuguese, it's still useful due to the many drawings, circuit diagrams and step-by step details and photos.
"Here are some pics of the SAI I removed and the blanking plate I made out of brass." I have the qingi 200, i think its very similiar to this bike. not sure if mine has the SAI but whats the purpose of blocking it off?
Yours should also have the SAI and here are some reasons to remove it:
1. It causes your motor and exhaust to run ALOT hotter.
2. Sometimes causes backfiring in the exhaust.
3. Its one more thing to break and cause problems
4. its not needed unless you state does emissions testing on motorcycles.
5. Less weight on the bike. (maybe 1 pound at most)

I like the way that pipe tucks in under the side panel. I just installed T4 Pro Circuit pipe, very easy installation. Pipe is super loud though especially at speed.
what bike is that for, the full exhaust actually fits? any sound clips?
That is the system for a Suzuki DRZ-125, it will fit but you will have to make a few bracket to mount it.
hmmmmm That looks promising. I wonder if the header is worth the extra 125 bucks though VS just the spark arrestor
Very nice! I have the jet's coming along with a front 16 tooth sprocket. I work for a Uk based company and since I receive regular shipments from there I was just going to have one of the boys over there get me that p&p pipe, but I would much rather a full system. Both for looks and potential weight savings. Did you happen to weigh them?

Hey Angelr, I am in Orlando as well. I did not do an actual weight but the stock exhaust is much heavier, as far as the header pipe I just did not like the transition of black to the stainless. If it was available with a carbon can the black header would be trick though.
No kidding you're here in town. That's awesome. We'll have to get together at some point, I'm in the south orlando area. Work near sand lake and orange and live near orange and weatherbee. As far as the aesthetics of two different finishes.... that's yet another reason why I would prefer a full system, even if as it sounds it wouldn't do much for weight and power over just the can.

I want to change my stock exhaust for the P&P can from xian racing like forchetto did, but i send a few emails and i got no answer from xian racing.
Does anyone knows an alternative way to speak with someone from xian racing? or an alternative link to order?

I believe they've run out of the stainless steel can and are now supplying an identical one in shape but made of carbon fibre. This is the link to see it. They say it's for GY6 engined scooters but I think the overall size and 33 mm inlet pipe diameter makes it suitable for Qingqi derived bikes.

There's something strange about their web page. Lots of discounts, even for popular fast moving stock.
Not long ago they moved to a different, larger premises and I'm wondering if they've overstretched themselves and are in financial trouble.
I could email Gareth but somehow I dread to hear the bad news if any. They're good, honest and ethical traders, and usually respond very quickly to enquiries and orders.

I'll check that the sites and email addresses are all working - I have told Chris that if he can't answer the question to just not answer rather than give incorrect information - so I believe I may be to blame if people are getting ignored.
If the peole trying to order are friends of yours please get them to email office@xianracer.com and mark it FAO: Gareth/ERN
I'll then get Chris to forward these to me. If people want to bulk buy before we shut we are open to offers as some stock will be discontinued when we open the new store.

Agree. Also shutting the shop for 8 weeks seems a bit over the top. We moved my business in one day. Worked till 2 in the morning and the factory was in production the next day. Phones and email was manned without interruption.Quote:

That looks the same as the one I got from Xian Racing for my Qingqy QM200GY. It looks as if it'll come with some bits that are surplus to requirements: The downpipe and those funny-looking struts. They're to fit scooters. Also the downpipe has a spring loop to match the one in the silencer and keep them together. You won't be able to use that as the Qingqi's downpipe has no such loop. I used a pipe clamp after cutting some slots, but the fit is very good so you could get away with nothing to hold them together.
