Do yous know whats the expected price of the Kawasaki versys 300 here?
You and me too ...
The 650 Versys is 85 K so should be less than that.... But more than the CFmoto 650 MT?
shouldnt be more then the duke 390
Kawa Versys X300 ABS is priced about 40k. I think tax, insurance and plate are on top.
I assume a ready to run price of 45k RMB
That should be a really good option if the ergos are suitable. I saw a little more info on the 250 Vstrom the other day too, apparently claiming a 200kg dry weight :eekers:
Hi there, I'd like to take the enduro out to some scenic spots near Shanghai. the pictures here and following look great.
Can I ask, where does one get the ferry over to the island from?
I've read in other posts of a ferry from Shanghai over the river to head towards Ningbo. Do you know about that?
Also, one last thing, the 千岛 lake, where exactly is it please?
Plus does anyone recommend Tai HU?
I'd send directly to Bikerdoc, but his message inbow is still full...
I've PM'd you back MetalMonkey.
Lots of links included in my PM.
It'll take you a day to ride to Ningbo area from SH, especially if you have never done it before...
There is Morganshan area which is to the northwest and western sides of Hangzhou, also a nice area, but that's it... for the better stuff Zhejiang has to offer and there is a lot, one has to head south of Hangzhou... Lishui is another great area for riding. There lots of places and I've PM'd ya links on some of them.
Just to clarify...
The ferry that departs from Shanghai (overnight) is to Putoushan off the coast from Beilun, Ningbo and the nearby islands which are many. Putuoshan which is an island with lots of temples, and loads of mythology in TIC tradition. In reality it's heavily commercialised and expensive, and you can't drive or ride on the island, you either walk or pay for seat on mini buses.
Qiandaohu is the thousand island lake area, which comes under Hangzhou administration/rule
Taohuadao (peach blossom island) can be reached by a ferry which departs from a terminal on the Binhai/Chunxiao peninsular link
If you don't cross the big bridge .... Then it about 6 hours more riding.
1 option is to put your bike on a pickup or inside a van just to get you over the bridge.
I did the bridge crossing a few weeks ago both ways and the police did chased me.
Not recommended on a small c.c. bike.
