Yes, they're called Nogami now.

Yea, it's worth 30K... It sucks.
Benelli's a Chinese brand now, it is cheap for many reasons I'd like better not to know about...
Also 600cc is too much for me, I'm small.
I shouldn't need as much spares with a Ninja.
Thanks for ur advices, I'll follow up if I buy anything...
Peace.
Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
hi there mate.... went to nogami few weeks ago to check some bikes and ended up buying a shift pad for my shoes... lol
i also got the same quot form mr. murata and honestly 42k is reasonable for me knowing that in thailand the ninja 250r is like 150,000 baht which is 37,000rmb or so....(more or less).
The thing that i was concerned more is when i ask him about the reinspection of the bike after a year, he didnt guarantee me that he can handle it. Now 2013 cbr250r is more likely my next choice, saw one store in PUTUO that sells it for 37k and 24k plus for the 150. Good thing is i still have a month to decide before the riding season starts:)

I had the pb for a while, used upside down leather cover on the shifter for a while, then a tennis wrist strap around my shoe for a while, now I decided to keep ruining my shoes, pb solved.

Another grey part of the deal... A bit of a dealbreaker if I can't keep the plate on it more than 1 year...

I thought 1st inspection was after 2 years? & only insurance is needed aft 1 year.

37k u say... We should try & get a group discount...
Was the bike in the shop?
Putuo where if I may ask?
Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
heres the link to the forum(PM), u can trace it to the taobao shop to see store address.
i was scheduled to go there last weekend but something came up, anyway.... if u have time this week and check the store maybe u can mention to the boss our intend group discount?:) their taobao shop says 37k but i saw some store that sells it for 34,800(to be exact) i suspect they have the same dealer/supplier so more or less we can negotiate for the same price.:)
P.S.
The cbr on the photo is a 150(tri-color) the 250 will have the same paint scheme. The only difference i believe is the ignition key, exhaust and the kill switch that is not present in the 150.
keep me posted man!....ride safe
Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
Oh this is Jiaoji rd, it might be dodgy also to buy there for me as I ain't sure they can register the bike and transfer my current immatriculation plate 100% legally...
I'll go check it out this w-e still.
Cheers
Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
So u saw the shop before?... my sixth sense is telling me that is easier to get a waidi plate or in your case transfer shanghai plate for imported hondas (though its not imported legally) just because its a honda, as ive seen some imported hondas that seems grey as well with shanghai C plate. Also the same case with yamaha and suzuki.... for kawasaki i think it will be an endless persuit to make it somehow legit unless you pay the import tax and such....
damn LONCIN for not sealing the deal..... just agree to kawasakis terms, anyway it will still be a win win situation for everyone...

makes me wonder.... how to plate a grey import (smuggled) bike with a legal Shanghai plate as quite a few documents are missing due to grey import (smuggling)......

do you really believe every license plate you see on a motorbike is real or belongs to the actual bike?!

Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
Went n check on Jiaoji rd dealers this w-e, and a few others.
Apparently there's a single document that proves legitimacy of the import of a vehicle.
So, how to plate a grey import with a legit shanghai 沪 plate?
No problem! They all say. One has got Kawas 600 & 1000cc (50K RMB for a 600, tho it is quite a deal) both his idiot mechanics were saying no pb but after a quick chat with the guy behind a desk, not possible, of course.
Here:

Another dealer (left side of bottom pic) said he could plate those 2012 (or is it 2011?) CBR250:

This guy here (left):

Would be sweet but at this point, I don't trust anyone anymore, they'll say u can put ur plate on their mom and ride it legally if u give them 500 RMB.

Also went to every other Honda shop I know of:
- The honda guy on Jianhe near Tianshan (near Nogami/Murata) says he can import a Thai made 2013 CBR250 for 38K, in about 20 days.
- The honda guy on Zhonghshan near Wuyi rd says he's got no CBR250, only GW...
And finally,
- The honda guy with Peugeot scooters on Taizhou near Yuyao says they're all full of sheet and there's no way they can legally import those bikes for that price.
I figure any bike can be plated without the proper import doc by anyone who's got Guanxi enough to do so...
1st accident, routine control or yearly check => Game over, probably...
Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
agree with you man 100%....i think we're loosing the battle here unless someone out there can hook us up with a guanxi:)
both are 2012 models.... if i were u since u have a chinese A plate already how about just settle for gw250 for now and get the plate registered hassle free... then get a "weekend" bike which is the bike u really want (i think im well aware what its is) and a get a waidi plate for that just for riding the countryside...i know a bit pricey but thats what im planning to do. As for my everyday ride maybe ill consider wuyang honda rr150(cheap and reliable)with a C plate then ill decide for a weekend bike thus giving me more time to save and get the one im craving for:)
cheers
Re: Sport bikes 250cc and up
U know what, I think I'll buy a Benelli 600.
It's overpowered & too heavy for me but that's the only affordable & legal option with the CF650.
They say the CF isn't reliable.
I just worry the benelli isn't much more, but I had a Regal Raptor for 25,000 kilometers, I don't think it can be worse...
Peace.
