Yes, you can adjust your carburetor like is suggested above but the right thing to do is to take the bike back to them and have them adjust the carb. Mainly to save someone else from having this problem in the future.Quote:

Nice write up. Might I add that you should check the accelerator pump to make sure it still works after you put the bowl back on.

The DF came with a 88 main which was way too small (EPA) and the 100 seems good for me. I do have a 105 that I might pop in when I get back to Florida but here in NC I running up to 5k feet in altitude sothe 105 would be too rich.

My Denzi PZ30 looks the same as your version. Where did you get the 42 pilot jet?
I never found those pilots. I sent my carb down to an associate of Pit motors. He modded it for a standard keihin pilot.Quote:

Looks like yesterday was carb day, I rode down to Weaver's shop, and installed the new carb on my bike, checked the valves and compression, dropped the oil, adjusted the chain and checked the spokes.
Hit 1000 miles yesterday. It was good to get my hands dirty and work the bike. I wanted to make sure everything was good to go for my trip on the 8th to Americade. Left the bike with them for the week, will be away on business so I wont be riding much and the old man and I will pick it up on Saturday
By then the new sprocket and seat suspension will be on the bike.
Will take pics and video when I get it
While I was there went over and also visited with the guys from PIT, great day yesterday but I'm a bit sun burnt from the ride :riding: Took me 2.5 hrs with one 30 min stop for food and a bio break. Good timing for a 100 mile run one way.
Lewnor, contact Weaver, he's doing all the mod's on the Heist he'll let you know what the turn around would be.

With the 42/102 the bike is pulling great. Got the carb tuned in real well now. Great idle, cleared up a little stumble with AP. Just a pleasure in the city stoplight to stoplight. Moves right along easily at 65 on the highway. I really feel like I'm learning some shit. I can start to feel something should be tweaked here or there and am starting to "get it".
I'm loving these bikes. I'll even spread the love to the DF cause the suns out and I'm in a good mood. :)
Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Steve. I purchased a 2011 heist about a month ago from KTMracer and I love it. Nope was running lean still with my original Carb and I talked to Weaver so he built me a new one,with some custom tweaks. When we tested the bike it pulled like a beast. hit high speeds fast and without hesitation without throttling her out. I'm getting an awesome sound and response from her. We did some checking and the engine is reading a high compression. I get a great amount of torque out of her from her and only use ultra 93 octane.Quote:
