Good day everybody Jean -Pierre here from Qingqi South Africa
I have been to the factory 2 weeks ago and test drived the new 250 motard and touring bike ( Road bike mixed with motard )
The New 250 engine is not a GN engine but it is the new GS 250 An engine Qingqi had been developing for 2 years . The engine runs smoother than the GS 200 engine ( And the GS 200 is a smooth engine ) which is amazing. It delivers great power the most in the chinese 250 same class engines it also inclued standard rear Disc brakes no DRUM.
It is howerver based on Suzuki technology but Qingqi has included some of there own techinics aswell. The 250 range will only be released in March 2009 Back in South Africa we are already preparing for the order.
We are having good progress and we are introducing the new QM125T-10R Scooter known as the Qingqi Variant the picture can be found at http://www.qingqi.com.cn/en/cpxx.asp?proid=809. We Will have them in Black, Yellow , Red
These are the best styling scooters i have ever seen.
Post comments for any other info I will be glad to help.

Hi There Yes Carl this is the bike I rode.
Comments:
The bike drives fantastic it feels like a touring motorcycle like the honda transalp you know that touring feeling.
The handeling around corners is suberb and the sitting position.
It was a great idea for you to propose this type of motorcycle.
It would run even better with the 250cc engine and It would look nice with a more sporty headlight.
But further on it is a great design well done I will be importing this model once it becomes avaliable.
Jean-Pierre

Recho and Blackbite,
Welcome to the site and thanks for the info! I really don't know much about the Serbian motorcycle market and would love to know more about it.
Is 1,300E expensive for a bike there? Also, how does it compare to other bikes available in Serbia. What kind of bikes are available in Serbia?
CC
On Serbian market most important brands are: Qingqi, Keeway, Jinlun, Kinroad. Jinlun and Kinroad selling only cruiser models 150ccm or 250cc.
There are some other brands, especcialy scooters, branded for this market and who know's who actually make them.
Prices are pretty much ok, but Qingqi models are best buy consider price/quality/available models. Current prices are a bit lower than usual, for about 100e in avrage.
Of course, there dealership's for Japanese, German and Italian brand's, but most of the bikes on our roads are second hand, mainly imported from German, Italy, Swiss.
