Yes changing the plug helped starting on mine as did upping the size of the pilot jet and dropping the clip on the needle.

I think the best approach would be to find a shock with a shorter eye to eye measurement and look at lowering the fork travel via internal spacers rather than dropping them in the triple.

Mmm installed the CDI (same one as toys4boys currently sells) and it's missing at idle and seems a little harder to start, will have to look at it further tommorow.

Ordered a bunch of jets, a UNI filter and a performance CDI today and am looking in an exhaust for it. I'll make changes one at a time too see what effect they have.

Raising the needle will make the mixture a lttle richer at low RPM's, I did some plug chops and found it was a running a little lean at low RPM's.
I am resonably handy, but all my of 2 wheeled... -

So passed my test a month or so ago and got bored of riding my scoot around while I work on my ZX600 project, so I traded my scoot for a 250CC enduro.
It's a Saga 250, one of only 2 chinabikes...
