BDoc, all of those are valid points, but it fundamentally means you can't place that level of expectation on the manufacturer and the survival of the product depends on the dealer/aftermarket...

I think a bigger problem is deciding where they should put their RMB. Considering Chinese bikes are more desirable in developing nations (where the RMB is still worth more) it would take some miracle...

LX5 is a wonderful camera but for the adventure riding thing, I may suggst the Panasonic TS3. It's waterproof, shock proof, has a built in GPS, altimeter and barometer and can take pictures...
