Re: CFMoto Scooter Recall
Honda had the pre-production prototypes of their automatic motorcycle, the DN-01, on show without foot brake pedal. Being an automatic they had all the controls on the handlebars, like a scooter. The...

Re: QingQi Manufacturer Links
You're right. Meko import the Pioneer version of the 125 that they call X-Trem 125. Curiously the Pioneer versions have rear disc brake and the main factory's (Qingqi) a drum brake.

Re: Qingqi QM200GY (Qlink, STX, Pulse, etc) alternative air filter
It could be done. I did search ebay for a used example as the original is hard to get and expensive, but in the end I just settled for looking around to find a low pressure-large diameter spring...

Re: Qingqi QM200GY (Qlink, STX, Pulse, etc) alternative air filter
The original filter that came with the bike had been fitted dry. The Suzuki spare I bought later came ready oiled, you can tell because it comes sealed in a plastic bag and some of the oil has...

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
That looks the same as the one I got from Xian Racing for my Qingqy QM200GY. It looks as if it'll come with some bits that are surplus to requirements: The downpipe and those funny-looking struts....

Re: Vibrating noise from the exhaust
Are the two parts meant to come apart?. I mean the downpipe and the silencer. If so, it's strange that no clamp is fitted. A clamp won't help unless you cut a couple of slots in the silencer entry...

Thanks for that. You certainly have patience...must be a Saint!. A lot of lesser people would have given up by now and dumped the bike in the back of the garage.

Re: Removing rust from inside a petrol (gas) tank
Another tip from the old days was to put a handful of pebbles or gravel inside the tank, shake it all about like maraccas, wash out in petrol.

Nothing. I do have a Honda CG125 haynes manual scanned. This is generally available all over the web. Apart from general layout it doesn't really help for Chinese engines.
