Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
Small update, but the parts finally shipped a month after we bought it. So yeah, crazy but it's a huge waiting game. We are looking to sell it though since she is preggo now. Anyone interested? Lol.

Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
The ground looks good. I might replace it just in case.
And I have been wondering something. This has to do with my scooter. When I first got it, the battery would hold a charge for 2 weeks, now... -

Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
I am waiting on the parts to get. The weather to clear up. And some time off work to knock out the paint. Lol. I need to fix my buddies Ruckus clone scooter too, he had a wreck and broke his collar...

Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
It was $33.44 with tax and shipping. That's a new ignition, side lock with the mechanism, a new gas cap and lock, and 2 new keys for the set. Not too bad for everything.

Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
Barnone: The main fuse was fine. I even switched it with the one from my scooter, and still nothing.
Kennon: The key is dry.
I am ordering the ignition as well as the other locks. It will take... -

Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
Yeah. It's hard to start. All I have for now is everything is plugged up where it is supposed to. Battery id fresh off the charger. I turn the key to on and there are no lights or anything. So I am...

Re: Need some help with my GF's scooter
Yes that is the one. And I have been looking around through Google with no avail as to what would be causing this problem. And since I am registered here, I figured I would ask the age old question.

Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
I can handle the bumps with my back. But for some odd reason sitting on uncomfortable seats hurts my back.
They get over 75 from the 130lb Chinese test rider and the downhill ride for them. Lol.... -

Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
Well the tires seem rather nice. I am glad to hear that. Not quite what you would expect. I guess I will have to look into a new seat or some kind of padding. Bad back might not like the stock seat...

Re: In the hills of Kentucky
Ah. I wouldn't mind the 150cc. But Kentucky is getting tighter on getting as much money as possible. Plus for the price of the 150cc, I can afford the overhaul on the motor for the extra power, and...

Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
The motors are fairly simple to work on. Mechanics should be able to handle this work. My friend and I bought some Chinese scooters from scooterdepot, I have had to do some work on both, but they are...

Re: Anyone Know Of Dong Fang DF250RTB Bobber?
I am glad I read all of this. I figured I would go the route of buying a bobber rather then going out of my way to build one with my very limited time. I'm not aiming for a highway cruiser with this,...
