I did wonder, as I sold my Tr in June 2019 to a guy in Essex, according to the DVLA site the tax ran out in June 2020 and MOT in February this year,
Several guys I know who had Tr,s had the same CDI problem.
Best of luck with the Tr...............a decent bike let down by crappy electrics.

Mine was a Lincolnshire reg (FX)
I bought it new from a bike shop in Grimsby.......had a couple of teething problems with it......headstock bearing shot at 1600 miles, disc pads separating from back plate at 650 miles.
The importer (WK bike) where useless, tried everything to get out of a warranty claim.
