#1 Driverless Cars from Italy to Shanghai07-21-2010, 02:12 AM
Interesting project.
A team of Italian engineers overnight launched what has been billed as the longest-ever test drive of driverless vehicles: a 13,000-kilometre, three-month road trip from Italy to China, not in search of silk, but to test the limits of future automotive technology.

That is awesome! If the vehicles make through china without any incidents, that will be all the convincing i need that the technology is ready!
I wonder if anyone has told them about the china map offset though, it could lead to some interesting off-roading....
