06-23-2008, 08:07 PMMy new cargo trunk. I spent three evenings in my garage to make it.
---------------------
Thanks for greeting me. I glad to hear somebody like my home-made rear rack.
Well I don't see any problem to fabricate few of racks and send it to RIZN. Well I never test how much weight its can hold, but its very solid. I think 25-30 pounds for sure. I use 8 and 10 mm rods. But one think what I will change is a material. My rack from steel and the best to make from stainless steel. But its will be silver insted of black. I'm not at home right now. But I will be back in the midle of july. Let me know if you will still interested.

#2 Vlad's XF200/QQ200GY Custom Rack06-26-2008, 11:21 AM
Hey Gang,
VladG has an awesome self-built custom rack for the QingQi200GY/QlinkXF200 series bikes. Since the frames on the motard and enduro version are identical it will fit on both. If Vlad's able to make more for interested buyers, it would be best if there was a group buy to save on shipping and make it more worth his time.
It's not very often that someone with skill and interest comes along who can custom fab these things to anyone who's seriously interested in making a batch order of these sweet custom racks possible, put your .02 here!

Hell, I'd buy one just to see what kind of work Vlad does! Besides, I could always just sell it later if I don't end up using it myself.
As long as the cost of shipping isn't outrageous...count me in!

06-29-2008, 07:37 AMQingqi already makes a carrier, listed on parts catalogue for the dual sport version. It takes the place of passenger grab handles, looks robust and should be cheap. The only problem is persuading importers to market it.
Here's a picture of one:

06-29-2008, 02:18 PMI made my back rack because my dealer said he have nothing like that in his part book. If I would see such alternative at that time may be I buy one, but now too late. I like mine. And actually its looks much better on the bike, then in the book. Well guys you better check you local dealer for price of Qingqi rear rack, I'm sure its will be much cheap.

06-29-2008, 07:16 PMvolksjagger I think its better to order stock one. Its never custom made parts was cheap than from factory. Plus after all you will need to do some work with passenger grips (drill orifaces and thread it). I think my black painted rack will cost 40 and from stainless steel around 50, plus shipping to US.
