i chattered to my dad about it (who lives in shanghai) he worked out that as i dont live in shanghai or go there, it owuld be cheaper to buy the bike in fuzhou with a fuzhou license plate, i allready have the gear and so it would be paying more for something that i dont need. he suggested leaving it for Dewsnap to find someone new to biking in shanghai *there are allot of people coming and going form shanghai all the time so sooner or later one will crop up who would be perfect fo rthe bike and it would be a great deal*

I do like those bikes though, even though i read on here a while back about multiple problems with them after just 6k. but damn, when you like something, all the common sense in the world wont prevail. i will prob wait 3 or 4 years before getting one of those regal's.

shame though. oh well, the restrictions on being a husband and a father (money is divided up before it even reaches my hand)

A group of us inherited a ZS125-11S a few years ago, that was quick and reliable, never had too many problems with it. I would say that along with Qiangjiang they are one of the better domestic brands. Like TD says you'd most likely still be better off with a joint venture bike like a Sundiro or Wuyang Honda, Jianshe Yamaha, Haojue or Qingqi Suzuki etc. Not just for quality, but also for resale.
