Yes, somewhat unusual displacement.
This 175 cc category is very rare nowdays - I saw C-motos with that displacement engine only on the vietnamese and turkish markets.
Also, I know that "Lifan" makes CG clones with displacements: 133 cc (bore x stroke - 56.6 x 52.9 mm), 160 cc (62 x 52.9 mm) and "votive" 175 cc (62 x 58 mm).
Which crankshaft and piston they used to get 169 cc - only God knows. Maybe 169 cc is just lapsus calami...
BTW, where they found that CG clone? Parent factory does not makes them.Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

Yes, and weights extra 10 kilos. It's just engine.
A few years ago, at a time when "Qingqi's" 250 cc was new and rare, I read an article from some Russian motorcycle magazine. The first thing guy saw, is noticeably bulkier engine compared to the same bikes with 125 and 200 cc.

I wrote earlier that I have read that the 250 cc bike weighs in excess of ten kilos compared to 200 cc version. Correction: extra 16 kilos.
"Силовой агрегат стал заметно шире и значительно тяжелее – почти на 16 кг!"

Yes, comparing differences
249cc to 199cc
Weight Dry Kg
142 -125=17
12% Increase
Engine Power Kw
15.4-11.5=3.9
25% Increase
Engine Torque N.m
19.5-14.5=5
26% Increase
I commented once before that as you increase engine size and weight there is a diminishing return.
There is less of a gain in the ratio for power to weight from a 199cc to 250cc compared to 125cc to 199cc as long as the increase in weight is under the increase in output the ratio is positive and increasing, but it increases at a decreasing rate with each level. To defeat this is the use of ceramics, water cooling and lighter metals, like titanium all coming with increased cost at production.Last edited by MJH; 02-12-2015 at 12:48 PM.

IMO, 4V head would be affordable way for improving power/weight ratio.
Speaking of 4V on "Suzuki" engine based clones, you recently mentioned QJ's GS clone with 4V. Do you have any additional information about them?Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

I image the cast rims would crack under hard impacts, not likely to bend. I see them primarily for street use and in that if made precisely then perfectly balanced and constant in that. Spokes bend and can lose their balance. I have yet to hear of a cast rim being a safety issue, however if they were used aggressively off road they could suffer stress fractures.
