03-05-2013, 07:51 AMHello every one,
Besides shipping, what would be the headaches in bringing my 125cc Yamaha clone scooter to UK?
Would I be able to go to DVLA and apply for registration, and number plates?
What is this type approval thing, does it include small scooters?
Gra.

03-05-2013, 09:18 AMIf the bike hasn't been registered then you would need to go through the DVLA. Probably the easiest way would be via a V55/4 form together with certificate of importation and COC which lists EEC type approval (Factories generally get this done for mass produced models). Having those document is probably unlikely so you'd most likely be looking to have an SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) More information can be found here https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-approval/...hicle-approval
There might be something else as I'm not 100% on the process of used bikes but happy to be corrected.
