    jajajaja!!!!

he means that he's glad there's someone in the forum from Costa Rica. We call ourselves "ticos", due the fact that we change the diminutive suffix "-ito" (used across latin america) to "-tico".

Here's more info about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tico

"Pura Vida" translates to Pure Life, but for us more than an expression is a way of living. We use it to say "cool", "excellent", to express gratitude, as a greeting or farewell, to ask someone's state (how are you? pura vida?), etc etc. It's how we enjoy living in Costa Rica and having our lifestyle.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_Costa_Rica

So, to resume, Costa Rica is our Ticoland!!!!

To GXT200_Costarica: tuanis mae pura vida!!!! que bueno tener un compa tico amante de las motos chinas aquí en el foro!

Translation (sort of): cool buddy excellent!!! is good to have a costarican friend chinese bike lover here at the forum!

Indeed it is. Actually there are now a few places were you can rent a bike in the case someone needs, so it's pretty easy to go from one place to another. We are a small country but with so much diversity, you can go from the mountains and volcanos to the beach in a snap.

So you all are more than welcome to come and meet this beautiful country.

    GXT200_Costarica, we are you located?

When a few of my fellow Puerto Rican friends returned from a visit to Costa Rica they all came back saying "pura vida!" constantly. They certainly seemed to have had fun :)
