#1 CQ Moto Expo Video Report04-26-2008, 11:57 AM
Hey Folks!
I'm pleased to announce the MyChinaMoto.com ChongQing 2008 Report Video.
The report features a brief look at some of the most interesting product at the ChongQing Moto Show from April 9-11, 2008.
-Take a look at Shineray's 200cc GY-7 and 250XY (X2) with the NX250 6-speed, DOHC, water-cooled engine - we also get to see the 250XY in action at Shineray's motocross track!
-From Jialing we take a test ride on their JH600 which feels and sounds big!
-Finally, QingQi displayed their bikes in a test-ride area and showed how capable and friendly their bikes are to ride.
Hope you enjoy the show!
Ride Safe, Have Fun

Nice report Carl,
You should ask Franki to give his impression of JH600 in a long trip context.
Also is it possible to get some comparison info between the DS and Motard QingQi?

Brice,
The DS and Motard version of the QingQi are identical bikes besides the plastics and wheels. With the smaller wheels and street tires, you'd get the handling characteristics you'd expect like faster turn in. The smaller rear wheel sure does lock up faster with the drum brake designed for a full size 18! The inverted front forks make for a more stiff front end and give some very positive feed back from the few minutes I've spent on the motard version.
I've contacted Franki and hope he will post his thoughts on the JH600.

Let say somebody buy a Motard which look nicer plus an extra set of 21/18 offroad wheels. Do you think the inverted fork will suit an offroad usage? what about the sprockets?

Much of the plastics including the gauges are identical. The front fender on the motard is much smaller as is the fork much shorter. If you put a 21" on the front you likely would run out of room on the suspension real quick plus get blasted by spray if traveling over even slightly wet surfaces.
Might be better off with a DS version and getting motard wheels.

No problem Franki. We can wait.
I really like you ride reports on ADV so a new ride means a new report.
You are certainly amongst the firsts if not the first to have rode the JH600 so intensively across China so your opinion about it will count.
Have a nice trip.
Brice
